Features (Red Cat characteristics)

• Origin: Turns reddish-brown when grown in harsh environments similar to Oaxaca City, Mexico.
• When exposed to ample sunlight, the entire plant takes on a reddish hue compared to regular Agave titanota.
• A very rare variation among the titanota species.
• In this environment, the lateral and main spines become more prominent, giving it an aggressive appearance.
• New spines are golden and hooked.
• Overall a small, intricate plant, but its spines are wild and resemble a cat.
• A unique appearance that coexists with cuteness and the ferocity of a predator.

Cultivation Tips

• Water sparingly and ensure sufficient sunlight to encourage a reddish-brown color.
• Be aware that insufficient sunlight will cause the leaves to revert to green.
• Growing in strong sunlight will help shape the leaves and result in a beautiful, rounded form.
• Direct sunlight is effective for enjoying the spine color change (golden → reddish-brown).
• Easy to grow for beginners, allowing them to enjoy cultivation while learning.
