Characteristics (Red Cat's features)

• Origin: Turns reddish-brown when grown in harsh environments similar to Oaxaca City, Mexico.
• When exposed to plenty of sunlight, the entire plant becomes redder than typical titanota.
• A very rare variant among the titanota species.
• In this environment, the marginal and terminal spines become more prominent, giving an aggressive impression.
• New spines are golden and hooked.
• Overall a small and intricate plant, but the spines are wild and reminiscent of a cat.
• Unique appearance where cuteness and predatory ferocity coexist.

Cultivation Tips

• Water sparingly and ensure sufficient sunlight to encourage a reddish-brown color.
• Be aware that insufficient sunlight will cause the leaves to revert to green.
• Growing in strong sunlight will shape the leaves into a well-rounded and beautiful form.
• Direct sunlight is effective for enjoying the color change of the spines (golden to reddish-brown).
• Easy to grow for beginners, allowing you to enjoy cultivation while learning.
