Greentex is a kabushiki kaisha based in Yokohama, and the sole authorised channel in Japan for original Taiwanese fabric.
Every transaction is completed within Japan. No overseas remittance. Japanese-language support, shipping from within Japan.
We issue invoices that comply with Japan's qualified invoice system and file our taxes properly, so large companies' accounting requirements are met as they are.
We are in Japan, and we can visit you at any time.

Buy without holding stock

The way fabric is sold is changing. The craft market is shrinking, and more shops cannot carry inventory.
With digital printing you order only the quantity you need. Unlike conventional printing there is no limit on the number of colours, so colourways are free.
Small quantities, many designs. Stock and design problems solved at once.

Own your own print

Once the artwork and fabric are decided, we can quote and give a lead time from 100 m. Lead time is about two months.
A print made for you is yours alone. We do not sell it to anyone else.
Our data is managed in a system, so reorders move quickly.
If you cannot draw the artwork, we can design it (design fee applies; ask your contact).

Having your own print is what will carry a brand from here on. We work behind it.

Our fabric is sold in craft shops in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka.
What customers make most often are small bags and fabric accessories, and children's shirts and skirts.

OEM fabric products too

We make finished products, not only fabric. So far: small bags, tote bags, handkerchiefs, pouches, shirts, absorbent fabric coasters and caps (a project with a Taiwanese baseball team). Our development and production team has been doing this for more than ten years.

Patterns can be chosen from ours. Artwork can be an existing print or a new one.
Once you decide to go ahead, we make a sample first. The sample fee is offset against the production order.
Minimum quantities for products can be adjusted to you, but the smaller the run, the higher the unit price. Custom-print fabric has its own minimum as fabric.
Corporate novelties follow the same process.

We also make goods for sale at tourist destinations; what is sold at places such as Hayashi Department Store in Tainan are products like these. We can handle packaging and labelling as well.

Quality and colour

Our own original fabric is always delivered to Japan as A-grade.
Colour can be checked against a colour card. Finished quantities vary by about ±5 m, and we invoice the quantity actually delivered.

For companies spreading their production base

Some companies want to bring overseas mills into their production line to spread risk.
A mill in Taiwan and a contact in Japan, from one company: that is us. The fastest-moving contact you can have in Japan.

About our credit

Our bank is Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. It is not easy for a new company in Japan to open a relationship with a major bank; it takes accumulated credit.

How to start

Apply first through the trade account application. Your contact will get back to you within one or two days.
Fabric samples are A4-size colour cards, delivered within Japan in one or two days (Sagawa Express, cash on delivery).
Payment terms and similar are discussed individually with your contact.
